These days..

The days since my last post haven't been too eventful. I'm slowly beginning training on the bike again, but no more than one day of intervals per week, if that. I have been running once or twice a week, and messing around on the BMX bike just as much. Despite the laid back approach, these are some of the most important days of the season, and being laid back is vital. Re-juicing the mind and brushing up on the bike handling side of things are both on the agenda. As much as I love to work hard and improve, I am enjoying the heck out of my off season.

School started back up for me last week, which is always a jolt back to reality. No longer can I wake up at 8:00, laugh at the clock, and pull the covers back over my head for another hour. It's time to get back to business. Darn.

Usually the homework kicks my rear end back into gear, and that has a way of bleeding over into my other endeavors, or should I say endeavOR. It's unhealthily singular, I am told. I'm still not convinced. Anyway, about the time I start to realize that procrastination and laziness are no longer options, real training starts to begin. I think it's time...

It's been so hot even the squirrels are melting...

Here is a bit of the daily non-sense I have partaken in for the past couple of weeks. This one literally ended up in the turn lane of HW 290, cars flying by inches away. It wasn't damaged and lived for another flight. I just wonder what the drivers must have thought when they saw a little bomb looking thing floating down by parachute towards them...

I put some new bells and whistles on the blog, as you have probably already discovered. One of these is the green playlist thingy-ma-bobber. I have a really big variety on there right now, so please reply with opinions. Get rid of this immediately, how about some of this, and pretty soon we'll have something everyone will enjoy! I already have a list of my own of things that I want to take off, and add, so don't be shy.

That's it for now...
